2015 conference in South Africa
After a number of conferences in Europe, this year all members traveled to the southern hemisphere.
Our South African delegate welcomed everyone in the sunny city of Cape Town.
The conference was characterized as: The Print Finishers Safari
The first day we started with the members update:
- general information of the members
- product and market changes
- investments and ideas
In the afternoon there were presentations and a very lively discussion on the digital machines in our market. Is that the way to go for a print finisher?
The second day there were presentations on on-line retail and on-line sales support. Websites, Social Media, App’s and webshops. Where can we benefit and what should we take into account.
In the afternoon we visited the factories of our South African delegate.
The last day of the conference we held a general discussion on the market and we discussed the general business, like financials, next meeting at Drupa and next conference.
Further, next to the business part, our hosts organized a magnificent social programme with a safari, interesting trips and lovely evenings with traditional food.
